SCOOP: Ramesh Taurani To Launch Daughter Raveena In Ishq Vishk 2
We can now add Raveena Taurani's name to the list of filmi kids who will make their Bollywood debut in 2017
For the past few years there have been hushed rumours about the sequel to Shahid Kapoor's Ishq Vishk, which also launched Amrita Rao and Shehnaz Treasurywala. However, there wasn't any confirmation.
Also, the grapevine was abuzz with reports that Ramesh Taurani is going to launch his daughter Raveena Taurani with a big film. Again, there wasn't any confirmation here as well as to which film she would be doing.
Finally, we can confirm both. Yes, Ramesh Taurani is launching his daughter in Ishq Vishk 2 under the home banner of Tips.
Our little birdie informed us that the film will be another musical just like the Shahid starrer. The music reigns have been handed over to composer duo Sachin-Jigar, who have previously worked in quite a few Tips films.
Raveena has previously worked as an assistant to Siddharth Anand for Bang Bang (2014) starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif.
And now she is ready to step in front of the cameras with the sequel to Ishq Vishk, a college romance which captivated audiences more than a decade ago in 2003.
We are now waiting to see whether Raveena will play a version of the lovestruck girl-next-door played by Amrita or the college hottie portrayed by Shehnaz.
Raveena joins a long list of star kids who are preparing to foray into Bollywood, be it Jhanvi Kapoor or Ahan Shetty. But who will make their mark in the already crowded B-Town?
